{Arizona rated XXX}

In Utah, we call the "slow down" bumps in the road speed bumps.
Arizona on the other hand calls them speed humps.
I consider a speed hump something you do in the afternoon when you have an opportunity and little time.
Apparently, Arizona encourages you to do this at 20 mph....
and this sign is posted near the retirement community!!!
What a way to make someone break a hip people!

When we were in St. Thomas I noticed speed humps. That was the very first time I had ever seen them. I was a speed hump virgin ;) Anyways, there really is a difference. Speed humps are longer (hehehe) then their friend the "bump" and actually don't require cars to slow down as much. (Speed bumps are made for cars to slow down to 5-10mph ideally)... Not that you wanted to know. :)

Ahhhh I see!!!! That makes sense! I think I enjoy speed humps much more than speed bumps!! You can go a lot faster! Thanks for the humping/bumping education!
