{Janin}

I've been trying all day to find the right words to post....
in honor of my Aunt Janin's birthday.

Profound words do not come to me.....
the truth is that I miss her and love her to Lake Powell and back a thousand times over......

sweet chocolate
painted pearl white nails
morning runs
thick beautiful hair
smiles of acceptance
eyes of patience
heart of angels
our Janin

Still just unbelievable. I hope you all feel comfort and her love today. She was very loved and I know she's missed terribly.

Dearest Jolie: I cryin' again but it's a sweet balm of sobbing. My frozen shock and despairing loss have finally evolved to where I can unlock the door of reality.
I think I moved on to a healthier place yesterday as I roamed far and wide to breathe in the tender loveliness of the outdoors Janin celebrated so much. I let my mind and senses catalog all my memories of Janin's October 14th birthdays.
My love and thanks to all you grands and great-grands who have been so loving and supportive.
Randy, dearest son-in-law--I know Janin so loves you for keeping in touch with me on her behalf.
"Are you up for a visit, Mom?" That's what she always said, up to that last visit with me, on Monday afternoon, March 30, 2009. She was so happy, so loving--exquisitely giving to each and every one of us.

Cops escorted me home last night. I'd spaced Jazzy's need for battery power. Thanks to these 3 public servants for their concern and gallant follow through on my behalf.

When my heart is empty, thinking of Janin makes me smile. It's hard to understand why someone so lovely was taken from us, but I take comfort in knowing that we were part of her well lived life. Misses and Kisses for my Janin
