I heard Adele sing this song on Ellen today, and even though the words are not descriptive of my life experience, I still can appreciate the passionate lyrics, Adele's beautiful face, and her glorious voice.
I could listen to this over and over.....

I was shivering and crying. That song breaks a person in pieces--the way Adele sings it. Such a lovely interpretation of the sadness of a past relationship.
I've never heard of Adele before this. I'll have to chk her bio.
I swear there is a poignant, beautiful song from the 40s or 50s with that same title. I'll chk that out. I was waiting to hear that old song on the U-Tube but this is a whole other beautiful love song.

I really enjoy her sultry voice. And her eyelashes. I need to get me some of those. But what where my life experiences aren't excactly the lyrics of this song I did get that sometimes it lasts in love and sometimes it hurts instead.

I agree that there are phrases in this song that we can all relate to in one way or another....
