remember this birthday?
it was your 30th.
you were the last of our "rat pack" to leave the 20's.
i remember saying,
"girls!!!  our baby is 30!!  i just can't believe it!!"
we celebrated by spending the day in Park City,
and the evening in the Grand America Hotel.
we all thought it would be great to "shake our money makers" at the local swanky, skanky meat market.......
because ya know, we may all be in our 30's now, but by damned, we will give those 20 somethin's a run for their money!!!
Boy were we wrong.
Sooooo very wrong.
we were only good for being a gyrating pole for the 22 year old boys.
i'm pretty sure we were already being considered an old cougar by most of them.
we felt so out of place.
what were we thinking??!!?!?!
that was an ah-ha moment of the reality of what comes with our age.

Isn't it amazing how time changes everything....

Now, 5 years later.......
a marriage to your life love
&
a baby that makes you love life

Happy Birthday my beautiful friend.
May the next 5 years bring many more loves, fun, happiness and rockin' experiences in life.
