All three boys literally tearin' it up in Little-big man's room!
Look at our babies....awe!!!
Paula, Jay D and Little-big man, invited us over for Sunday brunch. They have the most kick ass waffle maker. It's an industrial one like you would find in at a fancy hotel brunch. Paula made a blueberry/flax seed waffle mix, and I brought some link sausage and cook-burned it while we were in great conversation. On the table she had blackberries and sliced strawberries in a bowl and home made whipped cream to top it all off!!!! She is such a domestic goddess! I love how she can organize EVERYTHING and have the perfect little spot for EVERYTHING! We are lucky to have friends that have become our family. They are good people and we love them.
As we were gathered around the table, Pop said with a delicious whipped cream smile, "This is fun.....it is a happy day" :) :) :) :) That says it all!

Aw-thanks Jolie. This makes me vaklempt. We always have so much fun with you guys. River was right and I loved it that he can recognize "happy times" when they are happening. Often-we don't realize the "good times" until they are over. We love you guys!

Sounds good! Paula's Waffles.
I made a fantastic skillet brunch yesterday. It took 1.5 hours to prep spuds & veggies, eggs, 10 minutes to eat, 2 hrs for cleanup. I don't know if this is the way for a great-grandma to spend her Sunday.
I'm trying getting into family blogs again. Terrifying! Let's go for it . . .
