1975-76
I have adored my Aunt Janin and Uncle Randy my entire life.
They gave me love that made me feel that the admiration was mutual.
I envision my Aunt Janin continuing to hold my baby brother with security and protection, as I am comforted to believe that they are together.

Oh-your thoughts about this picture bring tears to my eyes.
Oh, Jol! I remember at Janin's Viewing I was standing there watching the slide show Claar and Emily had put together of Janin. There were several pics of her holding her own and many others' babies throughout her years. I sobbed out the comment, "NOBODY HELD AN INFANT THE WAY MY SISTER DID!" (My own personal memory of her holding Chase so dearly). Then some woman standing there behind me (looked like a large,cranky Primary Teacher) retorted, "Well, how else is somebody sposed to hold a baby!" in a very condescending tone. I shot her a sharp look of "SHUT YOUR MOUTH WHEN YOU'RE TALKIN ABOUT MY SISTER!!" Oh, if she only knew...

I think the dress you are wearing in that picture is the dress you wore to Janin and Randys wedding.
Randy and Janin loved to take you two and play. An Angel holding onto her Angels.
